Cassini-Huygens is responsible for finding out about Saturn's gravitational and magnetic fields, mapping Titan's surface, and studying Saturn's and its moons' atmospheres and ionospheres among other things. The exhibit conveys the standard by displaying full-scale models of Cassini-Huygens that are covered by insulating blankets; the blankets can be pulled back to reveal the spacecraft underneath.
The fourth exhibit to be observed is called "Creative World: Structures" and under it is the highlight "Earthquake Experience."...
In it the standard is conveyed by having visitors experience a simulated earthquake and by then learning about ways to prepare for real quakes.
The fifth exhibit to be observed is another highlight from "Creative World: Structures" called "Mini Shake Table." It is related to the educational standard 3(d) from the earth sciences unit for grades 9-12, which states that" students know why and how earthquakes occur and the scales used to measure their intensity and magnitude." This exhibit relates to the standard by making students observe how earthquakes affect different types of physical structures. The standard is conveyed in "Mini Shake Table" by having students build their own structures on a table and seeing whether or not the buildings collapse when the table is shook.
